We've had multiple reports of collisions in the Lincoln area, which is believed to be caused by a tanker that has spilt oil on the road, making it extremely slippery.
Please note that the following roads are closed:
- Branston Road to Washingborough
- Lincoln Road to Canwick Road
- B1190 Washingborough road towards the Washingborough roundabout to the Eastern bypass
- Greetwell roundabout
- Nettleham roundabout
The tanker is also believed to have travelled towards Riseholme, so motorists are advised to take extra precautions or avoid heading towards that direction whilst the incident is ongoing.
